Obama's Faith

I know that everyone was scared when it was believed that Senator Obama was a Muslim and that his father was himself or had ties to terrorists. Some still believe that his Christianity is a front. I don't know about you, but I might just choose radical Islam over his brand of Christianity. Watch this video of Barack's pastor, Jeremiah Wright, speaking about our country (which is run only by rich white people) and the way it has been treating Obama.

(click the back button when you are done watching)

Barack's Church is a black separatist church no matter what he or his pastor says. There is no denying it!!! They say they have white members, and they may have (maybe they are paid to be there) but I am not even sure members of this church, Trinity United in Chicago, would call themselves American. They actually call themselves an African People and say that they subscribe to "liberation theology". Liberation from what? Your own self-fulfilled prophecies? Liberation from your own people killing each other? I think the liberation movement is over Trinity United. I think you have obtained your liberation, and what do you do with it? Complain some more?

Here is a sample transcript from Jeremiah Wright's sermon "Journey's End". This is a shabby transcript because I listened to the sermon but could barely understand what Jeremiah was screaming about. What I did take from it were these 10 facts about America and Americans that he was spouting...

Fact#1- "There are more black men in prison than in Congress..."

Fact#2- "....racism is alive and well. Racism is how this country was founded..."

Fact#3- "America is the number one killer in the world...invaded Grenada for no other reason than to [get] Maurice Bishop...restored Panama because Noriega would no longer dance to our tune...."

Fact#4- "...We put Mandela in prison and supported apartheid for 27 years while he was there...we believe in white supremacy and black inferiority more than we believe in God..."

Fact#5- "...support Zionism shamelessly while ignoring Palestinians..."

Fact#6- "...conducted radiation experiments on our own people...care nothing about human life as long as the ends justify the means..."

Fact#7- "...we do not care if poor black and brown children cannot read and kill each other senselessly...we gave up on poor people..."

Fact#8- "...we started the AIDS virus...still we put more money into military than into medicine; into hate than into humanitarian concerns..."

Fact#9- "...we maintain our way of living by making sure third world people live in grinding poverty..."

Fact#10- "We are selfish, self-centered...arrogant...ignorant...and...And...AND God has got to be sick of this shit..."

This Pastor also has a sermon titled "Audacity of Hope" (like Obama's book)...well I cannot believe the audacity of this man to call "white America" racist while he deliberately separates his own (black) people from the rest of Christianity. He even has the audacity to compare the plight of African-Americans to the plight of Jesus who also suffered the wrath of rich white men. Excuse me Mr. Wright, America sells hate? It seems to me like you have been shooting hate from your mouth constantly for years.

Like I said before, I think I might prefer a Barack Obama who is a radical Islamist.

Governor Spitzer

Governor Spitzer of New York has finally announced his resignation which is effective Monday, March 17th leaving his legally blind Leutenit Governor to take his place. David Patterson will also be the state's first black governor.

I love it! The Dems keep digging holes...but are we the only ones who notice? When will the rest of America get tired of it?

I mean Kennedy had Marilyn Monroe for Pete's sake and at least Clinton used his intern (it wasn't directly paying for sex) but Spitzer will forever be "Client #9".

Mail-In Redo?

Now the Dems are talking about doing a mail-in redo vote in Michigan and Florida. This idea is just stupid. There is enough opportunity for voter fraud without trying to conduct an entire primary via the U.S. Postal Service.

Michigan doesn't even have Party I.D. so leaders there would have to sort out all of those who voted in the Republican primary before sending out the ballots. Remember, I am from the once great state of Michigan, so I know the people, and understand their frustration. They want their votes to count but the only ones they have to blame are themselves and their party leaders who blatantly disobeyed the rules that were agreed upon a year and a half ago.

Hillary wants the delegates to be seated the way it stands now of course because she won both states. Is that fair? Hell no! Obama wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan. Along with Biden, Edwards, Richardson and Kucinich, Obama did the right thing and pulled out of the Michigan primary which was, as Biden called it, simply a "beauty contest". Party leaders from both of these states knew what they were getting into when they decided to hold their primaries early. Therefore, it is only right that their delegates not be seated at the convention. Period.

It is a simple decision of right and wrong and a product of lessons about following the rules we all should have learned in pre-school. If these delegates are seated, it will set a dangerous precedence for the Democratic party for future races.

What do I care though right? Maybe it is just my instinctive urge to fight for what is right, but this could very well lead to the destruction of the Dems for years to come, which I would be happy with!

Contrary to Popular Belief...

Contrary to popular belief, rules are not made to be broken. This is especially true when it comes to the people with whom we trust our government.

Those of you who read this blog know that this is not the first time I have written about lawmakers breaking the rules. The Indiana House Democrats have broken plenty of rules on the floor this session, rules on which all of the legislators agreed, and they have gotten away with it because they are in the majority--by one seat.

So now Hillary and her supporters want to break the rules of the DNC so they can seat delegates from Michigan and Florida at this summer's convention. Like the Indiana House of Representatives, the DNC agreed on a set of rules governing when primaries were to be held. Michigan and Florida broke those rules so that they could feel important, subsequently making them very unimportant. This is the way it should stay.

Just because Hillary wants these two degenerate states to be seated doesn't mean that it should happen. Rules are put in place for a reason. It doesn't matter whether your parents make the rules, the government or your political party. Rules are meant to be kept and not overturned just because some whinny presidential candidate has a sense of entitlement.

African-Americans- Democratic Pawns

Kanye West, the self proclaimed greatest entertainer and human being on the planet, blamed President Bush and the Republican party for the deaths of African-Americans in New Orleans in 2005. As if it was the president's job to order and organize an evacuation in the face of a devastating hurricane. Kanye completely bypassed Mayor Nagin and Governor Blanco who should be held more responsible than the federal government. And, if the federal government had anything to do with the Hurricane Katrina deaths it is because the Democratic part has patronized and coddled blacks in this country to the point that they don't know how to care for themselves. You wouldn't see me standing on a bridge talking to reporters about how bad off I am...I would walk my ass somewhere where I would be better off. It took the people of New Orleans a total of three days to turn the dome into a ghetto. Democrats haven't taught these people to be accountable for their actions.

This is just one example of how the Democratic party has not only used race as a political weapon but has taken the black vote for granted but kept African-Americans in virtual slavery for over 150 years.

Did you know that Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican? Most blacks were Republicans before FDR and the new deal, which ended up being misconstrued by modern Democrats to mean that the government should let people sit at home and get paid for it. Of course, FDR appointed Truman as his vice president. Truman being a member of the Ku Klux Klan. Democrats think black people are stupid and, as stated before, take their votes for granted. Dems push policy of more social welfare and tell blacks that Republicans are racists just so they can gain power and pursue their real agendas.

Kanye wants to say that George W. Bush is a racist. Tell me then, Kanye, why has President Bush appointed more blacks to higher level positions in government than any other president in history? President JFK, tauted as a civil rights hero, voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1957 as a U.S. senator (as did Al Gore Sr.) and was opposed to the 1963 march on Washington D.C. lead by MLK. In 2006 the Kerry campaign circulated flyers in Missouri picturing a 1960's black man being hosed down by a white firefighter. The caption read, "This is what they used to do to keep us from voting". That is a typical Democratic practice. They try to scare blacks into voting for them. Again, Democrats think black people are stupid.

The truth is, the Republican party was formed as the anti-slavery party and has forever tried to push policy aimed to help blacks. The Dems won't concede this point just because their idea of "help" is actually keeping the African-American community down. The Republican party believes in equality and that anyone can make a good life for themselves if they remain determined and work hard. Republicans try to give those who are down on their luck a hand up not a hand out. Take the voucher programs for example. Republicans have continually pushed for vouchers so that poor families (often black) can send their children to private schools when the public school system is failing them. The Dems are opposed to this program meant to help blacks elevate their position in society. Also, the 2 current Democratic presidential nominees, Obama and Clinton, both voted against raising the minimum wage which was a big issue for African-Americans in 2006.

The Democrats have been operating on the 4 S's since the 1800's. Those are; Slavery, Secession, Segregation and now Socialism. Their path towards socialism has held down blacks and turned African-American communities into economic and social wastelands. (Frances Rice)

Blacks who vote Republican or run for office as a Republican are often labeled as "traitors" by the democratic party. Some of the biggest racists and people who contribute to the political usage of blacks are black leaders themselves! C'mon Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton! The victim role is getting very old. All leaders like this do is hold their own people back by keeping the race issue alive and further racially dividing the country. Plus, you have leaders of the black business world such as Russel Simmons and Bob Johnson.

Bob Johnson, the billionaire owner of BET has come out in support of Hillary Clinton, claiming Obama is just an uppity negro and Hillary REALLY has the black community's best interests in mind. This coming from the man whose television network constantly portrays a misogynistic and degrading view of African-American culture.

Some people might think that I should not be righting about this issue since I am white, but I can't sit back and watch African-Americans be used and held back by the Democratic Party anymore. So, let's wise up eh?

Relax...It Won't Be Long

Have you all heard about the U.S. House of Representatives latest move towards socialism? The Democratic ruled house passed an energy bill targeting the oil companies. That's great right? We need to get those bastards who are sitting on their billions profit while we are struggling to fill our tanks! I agree, but the House decided to raise taxes on oil companies...all of the companies except Venezuelan owned CITGO.

What do you think is going to happen when the oil companies get the latest tax bill? You will see prices at the pump go up even more. This is a ridiculous idea! and giving a tax break to socialist dictator Hugo Chavez? Yea, way to sell out the American people Pelosi! Are you giving him a tax break in hopes that he will come here and teach you guys how to efficiently take over a country and oppress its people?

They should start running with this slogan--- "Liberals; raising taxes, killing babies and selling out since the beginning of time!"

To tell you the truth, I would not be the least bit surprised if Obama or Hillary won in November considering the Republicans are putting up a weak candidate like McCain. I can understand where everyone is coming from and all. I just don't like to sell out. But, I suppose, with the bullseye that the media has had on the GOP for the last 4+ years, we don't have the luxury of voting for our favorite candidate in the primary. We are stuck with the most "electable".

Don't worry my traditionalist friends. It shouldn't take too much longer. If, as predicted, a Dem takes office in '09, they surly won't be reelected. It will be a classic Jimmy Carter scenario. 4 years of total Dem control, higher taxes, more government, bad economy and weak national security and the American people will be fed up, subsequently ushering in 20 years of conservative rule.

Of course, if the Dems do happen to win again in 2012, then my suggestion to you would be to give your heart to Jesus as it would signal that the END is imminent.

Indiana 7th District

The all new Howey-Gauge poll came out and the results were in todays Howey Political Report. The results show Democrat Andre Carson leading State Representative Jon Elrod (R-Indianapolis) 54-36 percent for the special congressional election to be held for Indiana's vaccant 7th district seat on March 11th. Now, I am not too big on polls, but when a poll shows such a commanding lead it is hard to deny.

Andre Carson, the grandson of the late Congresswoman Julia Carson, has been on the Indianapolis city counsel since the summer of 2007. THATS IT people. What is that? Six months of governing experience at the municipal level! And you are going to elect him to represent you in the United States House of Representatives. Why? Because of his name? Because his grandmother was seen by many in the African American community as iconic? No wonder people are losing faith in our government.

Let's take a look at the other 7th district candidate, Jon Elrod. This young Hoosier Republican has had experience with the law in his family run law firm, two years experience in township level government and two years experience making laws in the Indiana House of Representatives.

Even if you are a Democrat. Way the options here. Andre Carson will get to Washington and have no idea what is going on. Jon Elrod is already prepared for the job. Even if you don't agree with Elrod, vote for him. Vote for experience until the general election when hopefully your party can come up with a better qualified candidate!

Make 'Em Work

My parents always tried to teach me financial responsibility. All throughout High School I had a job. I bought my first car, paid my insurance and cell phone bills and I would have never dreamed of asking them for money to go out with friends. It is not that my parents couldn’t afford these things. I knew that they could which made me angry at first. They always said that my brother and I needed to learn responsibility and how to become productive members of society. They also taught me that there is nothing free in this world. If something is labeled as “free” than someone, somewhere is paying for it. So, how much of our (those of us who work on campus, off campus or during the summer) tax dollars go towards those “free” checks that welfare families receive every month?
I know you are thinking, “Oh great, now he is bashing the poor”. That is not what I am doing I assure you. However, I am quite vexed with the way that welfare is distributed in this country and with the people who abuse the system. Welfare is supposed to be a temporary government aid to help families get back on their feet. Did you know that there are third and fourth generation welfare families in this country? There are. This is because we have taught people that it is perfectly fine if you do not want to work. The government will take care of you.
When you give someone something for nothing it takes away their dignity. This leads to higher crime rates and the decline of urban neighborhoods. When welfare programs were first instituted in this country with the New Deal people we not just given a check every month. The first welfare programs included the WPA and the CCC which put people to work for the government cleaning up parks and highways, planting trees etc. I believe that every able bodied person who needs money should work for it! Obviously I would be willing to make exceptions for the physically and mentally handicapped, but eve they have something to offer to society. If President Roosevelt were alive today he would be appalled with our welfare system.
I am sick and tired of people believing that the government is there to provide for their every need. It is not. This country was founded on the idea of LESS government intervention. I am not advocating neglect for the poor but it is not the government’s job to care for them. It is our job. Church groups and charitable organizations should help the needy and I should be able to choose which needy group I want to give my money to. If we are going to have welfare programs they should be set up more like the WPA. There is nothing wrong with helping people but we need to give them a hand up not a hand out. We need to teach people responsibility and the skills that they need to become productive members of society. Cutting them a check every month is just further harming them and contributing to a vicious handout cycle. This is going to sound very cliché but I will go ahead and say it anyway. If you give a man a fish he will eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime. We need to reform the welfare system and make ‘em work.

What's Next? Global Cooling?

Since Al Gore cannot be president, I guess a Nobel Peace Prize will do. He is sharing the prize for his efforts to fight “global warming”. Yes, I put that phrase in quotes. If the former vice president is so concerned about “global warming” than why is he still flying on private jets, being carted around in big SUV’s and why is the energy bill for ONE of his homes reported to top 30,000 dollars a year? Spell it out with me hyp-oc-risy.
Back to putting that phrase in quotes. Do I believe in the greenhouse effect? Yes. However, I do not believe that “global warming” is as big of a problem as many liberal tree-huggers make it out to be. When we look back in history we can see that our lovely planet routinely goes through climate changes. I read a study done by the National Center for Policy Analysis that claimed that during the Jurassic period the earth was an estimated average of 4 degrees Fahrenheit warmer. I don’t think that the Flintstones’ foot-powered vehicle didn’t emit any greenhouse gases. It is some sort of cycle. I am not denying that there are holes in the ozone. I do think that we need to research and use alternative fuels for environmental as well as dependency issues but I do not think that our hairspray and our cars are going to make the poor polar bears and penguins go extinct. Nor do I believe that in ten years there will no longer be a California, Louisiana or East Coast. If in ten years California is gone than it will be because God has finally sunk it to the bottom of the Pacific along with all of those who inhabit the state.
Many people claimed that hurricanes Katrina and Rita were results of “global warming”. That statement is actually quite comical. In 1938 a massive hurricane hit the east coast north of the Carolinas. New York City, of all places, was ravaged leaving hundreds dead and millions of dollars in damage. Calculating inflation, the 1938 hurricane is the sixth costliest in U.S. history. Should we blame that one on “global warming” too?
Environmental activists (and Al Gore) are just alarmists who take thunder away from the real pressing issues. As the global climate cycle continues there will come a day when the earth will start to cool back down. I predict that if Al Gore is still alive he will call this “global cooling” and encourage American citizens to increase their carbon emissions and lobby for the reintroduction of CFC’s. Maybe he will win another Nobel Peace Prize.

Dirty Indiana Democrats

Here in Indianapolis, the Indiana General Assembly is focused on fixing the state-wide property tax crisis. They are also trying to push through other important legislation such as a constitutional amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman. The Indiana Senate, which has a Republican super-majority, passed a bill that would impose heavy consequences on employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens or fail to use the federal e-verify system. The Democrats, who have a 51-49 majority in the Indiana House, tried to tie this legislation up in committee preventing it from reaching the floor. Thank God, the language of the legislation, Senate Bill 335, is going to be amended into Senate Bill 334 and hopefully passed. But Democrats tying up good legislation in committee only represents a fraction of the mess the Democrats are creating in the Indiana House of Representatives.
Last Thursday the Democrats passed an amendment to a bill that was not at all germane to the actual bill. This is against the rules that the members of the Indiana House of Representatives agreed to follow. However, when the Republican minority made a point of order to throw the amendment out, it was overruled by the frumpy, old, Democratic Speaker B. Patrick Bauer (D-South Bend). This angry little man and his lackies are egregiously abusing their 51-49 majority. The Republican minority would not stand for it and walked out. The House stood in recess from Thursday until today, losing four session days in this, a short session, which ends on March 15th. Speaker Bauer and the Democrats even instructed the Clerk’s office staff to come in late today so that the Republican members could not file any amendments by the eight o’clock deadline.
I was on the House floor today to witness Republican Leader Brian Bosma (R-Indianapolis), red in the face, scold the Democrats for their blatant abuse of power. Speaker Bauer ended the argument before it went too far (mostly to save face I suspect) and it is sad that the Republicans, who are only in the minority by one seat, had to bite their tongues and move on so that they can get the people’s business done before March 15th. The Indiana House Democrats are destroying six years of bi-partisan progress and trying to derail four solid years of economic and social progress made in the state of Indiana largely by our wonderful Republican Governor, Mitch Daniels. These dirty tactics and backwards politics are sure to continue, especially in this, an election year. So stay tuned for updates!
P.S. Is Bauer's toupee fooling anyone? I didn't think so

Self-Destructing Democrats

Democrats. You say you want a revolution? Well, you know, we all want to change the world. You tell me it’s the institution! Well, you know… You’re right! It is the power-hungry, hypocritical Democratic institution that will prevent the “change” you are all hoping for to come about. It is the evil of one Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton that will cause the self-destruction of your party this year. Obama has pulled out as the Democratic primary front-runner with more states and delegates won. You think it matters? Think again. Hillary will continue to win delegates here and there and will refuse to concede defeat. Obama’s lead will not grow to be insurmountable for the Clinton Camp. See, the Clintons (yes plural) are relying on all of their friends who are super-delegates to get her the party’s nomination. Many of these “super-delegates” (who don’t seem so super to me) have already come out in support of Senator Clinton saying that they will vote for her come convention time, no matter what their constituents think. There are 796 super-delegates. Most of these delegates stand to gain much more from voting for the Clinton Political Machine than they do from voting for the young, African-American Senator from Illinois. You thought the general election of 2000 was bad? With the recounts and Supreme Court ruling. Just you wait, you silly little Dems. Your party will spiral into utter chaos when Obama technically wins the primary process but Hillary gets the nomination as a result of these so-called “super-delegates”.Why don’t you people get it? Your party’s leaders do not care about this country! They do not care about you! They may make it seem so with their fantastically unreliable rhetoric, but all they care about is power. Do you actually think these people want to provide nation-wide health care, take away our second amendment rights, increase social welfare programs etc. because they want to help you and keep you safe? No! Oh no! These policy brain farts are designed to expand the federal government’s authority and hand absolute power to the far left-wingers. Our country’s government is slowly shifting to a social dictatorship like that of Venezuela, or if Hillary has her way, a one-world order with her as its Marxist head. You Democrats and “independent” voters always do this. You like what the Republicans are doing in the federal government for about eight years, then decide that they aren’t providing you with enough of what you want and go wild supporting some unpatriotic, far-left nut jobs. You need to understand that what is best for this country is not always pleasant. It doesn’t always mean that the government will provide for your every need. It doesn’t always mean that you are free to do what you want without consequence. What is best for this country is traditional values and conservative (not always republican) control! You Democrats might as well just not vote this time around and watch your party go down in flames. Believe me, I will be enjoying every second of it!
